I met Lt. Col. Berke at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business: 2015 Defense Entrepreneur Forum where my team and I were presenting the CollegeRecon technology. After seeing our presentation, Lt. Col. Berke asked if he could become a member of our Board where he would assist HFA with introductions to veteran service organizations while becoming the "face" of CollegeRecon.

Throughout Lt. Col.'s military career he deployed twice as an F/A-18 pilot from the USS John C Stennis in support of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also spent three years as an Instructor Pilot at TOPGUN, served with the ANGLICO Forward Air Controller supporting the Army's 1st Armored Division during combat operations in Ramadi, and was the only Marine selected to fly the F-22 Raptor and was the first pilot ever qualified to fly the F-35B.
